Chef Pisghetti wants to surprise Netti with a bicycle ride around Endless Park for her birthday. The only problem is, he doesn't know how to ride a bike. Lucky for him, George is an expert! So George sets out to teach Chef, starting with the four basics of bicycling: pedal, steer, balance and brake. After a bumpy start, Chef proves to be an eager student and makes great progress. George is an excellent instructor! But while practicing some of the basics in the park, Chef takes a wrong turn and finds himself hurtling downhill on a runaway bike, headed straight for the Museum. George suddenly remembers that he forgot to show Chef the fourth and final lesson... brake!! Can George help Chef master bike riding in time for Netti's birthday surprise - but first, stop him from colliding with the exhibit of fragile and priceless artifacts?? / George is amazed by Mrs. Renkins' painting of Mr. Renkins and Leslie the cow. What artistic talent! Inspired, George decides to draw a portrait of The Man with the Yellow Hat as a surprise for his friend. After Mrs. Renkins shows him that drawing a face starts with basic shapes, George notices shapes everywhere. Triangles in noses, circles in flowers - even his own house is a square! Then George gets the perfect idea. Instead of painting a small face on paper, why not use the shapes already on the house to paint a really BIG face? With a little help from Allie and Bill, and a LOT of paint, George gets to work transforming his house into The Man with the... Uh oh! Where will George find a BIG Yellow Hat?!

George's new playmate sure is friendly ... but quiet! Allie explains that this friend is actually George's shadow, and Allie has one too. Even more amazing, The Man with the Yellow Hat shows them how to make shadow puppet animals, like a rabbit, dog, and a bird! When Allie needs visual aids to tell her flying cow and duck story at Storytime Showcase - and she can't fit Leslie the cow through the library door! - George tries to use what he's learned about shadows and shadow puppets to help Allie tell her fantastic tale! / George loves celebrating Founders Day in the Country. There's music, dancing, costumes and a picnic! For a special exhibit this year, Mr. Renkins brings a truck full of old-fashioned gadgets, like wooden sock stretchers, an old-timey apple picker, and a squirrel-shaped nutcracker. George and Allie have never seen anything like these doohickies before! They learn that Mr. Renkins' Great-Great-Grandfather Zebediah was a peddler who drove a horse-drawn wagon - like a store on wheels - and sold inventions like these to make folks' lives easier. So George and Allie get a great idea. They can make their own gadgets! But what? And how? Using everyday objcts, George and Allie have a blast creating their own thingamajigs. But - are their inventions helpful? When George and Allie arrive at the Founders Day picnic, will anyone want their ponytail holders, tummy scratchers, and reacher grabbers??

Signs Up: Deciding that a collection of signs would make a cool display for his room, George sets out to gather them from all around town. But when people start losing their way and go in the wrong directions, George realizes how important signs are and starts putting them back - but not quite in their proper places. As a result, things get even more chaotic. Can George figure out where the signs are supposed to go so that the picnickers stop eating in the bears' den and the bicyclists don't run over the ducks in the animal crossing??

A Bridge to Farm: When George sees six stranded chicks on an island in a pond it's monkey to the rescue! George tries out several plans. Floating on his back as a monkey life raft is only temporarily successful so George looks for design inspiration in the local railroad and truss bridges. Using marshmallows, toothpicks and playing cards George constructs and then reconstructs a bridge strong enough to support one, then two, and then all six loud peeping chicks - and even the Mother Hen! EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE: To show that structures are made up of parts. Monkey Fever: The Man with the Yellow Hat always takes such good care of George, so when the Man comes down with a terrible case of the sniffles, George wants to return the favor. But how? He decides to try his own brand of monkey medicine to nurse the Man back to health, including setting up the bedroom like a real hospital, feeding the Man's cold and starving his fever, and even playing an impromptu game of charades with the pharmacist to get the proper cold medicine. But as George plays doctor for a day, he notices that the Man's symptoms are peculiarly close to those of Betsy's cat, the new mother of five kittens. Could the Man's illness mean he's anticipating feline fatherhood? EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE: To illustrate what it's like to be sick with a cold and some ways to take healthy care of yourself when you are sick; get rest, drink fluids, eat healthy food and, if needed, take medicine. To introduce some doctor's tools like thermometers and stethoscopes.

Professor Wiseman invites George and the Man with the Yellow Hat to the museum to see "The Wonders of Space Exploration" exhibit. It turns out that the main attraction is a meteorite that George himself found in the desert last summer! While admiring the rock, George's fingers accidentally smudge the exhibit case and George makes another cool discovery... his own fingerprints! George becomes so fascinated with them he collects finger and paw prints from all his friends. When the meteorite goes missing, with only a fingerprint left behind as a clue, can his Big Book of Prints help George find the culprit? / When George sees a rummage sale, he's inspired to host one of his own in the apartment lobby but has trouble convincing Hundley to cooperate.
