“Gigs” takes on a whole new meaning at KAMU. In this show, our studio welcomes Aggie student artists to perform their own original music and showcase their artistic abilities. Expect unique songwriting styles, speedpainting, modern dance and so much more. As an added bonus, each episode is entirely written, produced and edited by KAMU student employees. It’s a show of students, by students, and it’s available to watch or listen anywhere you access your favorite KAMU programs.

Gigs Episode 4: Braxton Husk April 14, 2025 Our next spot on "Gigs" is up-and-coming country artist Braxton Husk. Formerly an author with several novels under his belt, he shifted gears into songwriting after picking up the guitar less than a year ago. After his performance of "You Know What You Did" we were lucky enough to be the digital debut of his new single "Butterflies." Gigs Episode 3: Clementine December 11, 2024 Next up in the lineup is Clementine. A band of Texas A&M students, the trio joined us in the studio to perform three original songs. The blend of Ellie’s lead vocals with Brenden and Kavin’s rhythmic guitars creates a truly unique sound perfect for a “Gigs” set. In this episode, they perform their songs “Corpus Christi,” “Don’t Go” and “Now.” Gigs Episode 2: Nico Rey `25 December 2, 2024 Now in the “Gigs” studio is senior economics student Nico Rey. Filled with vibey acoustic guitar and moving lyrics, Nico’s performance is sure to transport any listener into a new world of music. Nico’s set includes three of their own original songs, “Namesake,” “Thorns” and “Flower/Visions.” Gigs Episode 1: Jillian Weeks `25 November 6, 2024 The pilot episode of “Gigs” features senior communications student Jillian Weeks. A passionate songwriter and performer, Jill has immersed herself in the world of music for as long as she can remember. She joins us in the studio to play three of her own original songs, “Just In Case,” “Friendly Fire” and “Me Again.”
