Juneteenth Documentaries

Sunday, June 19 • 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

KAMU celebrates Juneteenth with two documentaries. First, Mending Walls, the story of 30 artists coming together for a collaborative project about empathy and racial justice. Later that afternoon, KAMU is proud to present the PBS premiere of Juneteenth: The Galveston Story. Two Texas A&M graduates produced the documentary, which explores the history of the holiday and why Galveston was the place it was first celebrated.
