Radio Pledge Drive - 90.9 KAMU-FM

FM Pledge Drive… With a Twist!

On April 26-27, there’s a new incentive for supporting your favorite radio station!

Through our community’s faithful and vital support of public broadcasting in the Brazos Valley, KAMU-FM has been able to provide the quality programming you enjoy, trust, value and expect. However, the cost of bringing you those programs — favorites such as NPR’s “Morning Edition,” “All Things Considered, “Fresh Air” and “Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!” — continues to increase.

To help mitigate those increases, 90.9 KAMU-FM will conduct a spring on-air and online pledge drive on Wednesday-Thursday, April 26-27 — but with a new twist.

As a special incentive, a donation of at least $15/month ($180/year) not only directly supports KAMU, but also gives you the option to receive either a one-year online subscription to The New York Times or a “Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!” 20th anniversary digital album download. The Times subscription includes unlimited access for one year to one of the nation’s premier newspapers, complete with expert reporting, culture coverage and analysis. Plus, you’ll be able to sign up for your choice of nearly two dozen subscriber-only newsletters, covering everything from TV and movie recommendations to political data analysis. The WWDTM download is a double-CD length digital album, featuring the best laughs and moments from the show’s first 20 years (1998-2018) including exclusive bonus content.

We appreciate you considering this new opportunity. Whatever amount you choose to contribute to KAMU-FM (and KAMU-Classical/HD-2), your generosity will enable us to continue being Aggieland’s Public Radio and an active part of this special community.

Making your tax-deductible gift during our April 26-27 spring pledge drive is easy: our volunteers will be answering your calls at 979-845-5689, or you can donate online.

Thank you!
